Followers and other contacts
We collect information about friends, followers, and myBusiness accounts with whom you network and interact. This includes how you interact with them in our products, and which ones you interact with the most. Based on the activity of others, we collect information about you, for example, when you are tagged in a photo or experience, or when a message is sent to you.

App, browser, and device information
We collect and receive information from or about the various device(s) you use and also how you use them. This includes computers, phones, hardware, Connected TVs, portal devices, and other network-connected devices. Device information includes, for example, the device and software you are using; information you have shared with us about device settings, such as GPS location, camera access, photos, and metadata; information about the network to which you connect your device, including your IP address; information about the performance of our products on your device; and information from cookies and similar technologies.

We collect and receive information from partners, measurement solution providers and third parties about much of your information and activities on and off our products. Examples include: Device information, websites you visit, purchases you make, advertisements you view and how you interact with them, how you use our partners' products and services.
How do we ue your information?
We use the information we collect to provide personalized experiences, including advertisements. The information we use for these purposes is automatically processed by our systems. In exceptions, manual checks are also made to verify information.

To provide, personalize and improve our products
We use information to provide, personalize and improve our products. For example, this impacts your feed, Tales, and advertisements.
Advertisements, sponsored and commercial content, which are also displayed via wependio myBusiness, but also via Google Ad's and Appodeal, are customized to your information. These can be: profile information, your activity on and outside of our products that we receive through cookies, etc., content that we derive based on your interests, information about your friends or subscribers, including their activities or interests.To improve our products, we incorporate information we receive through your use for the following purposes: Measuring whether the system is working properly, looking for and fixing bugs, testing products and features, soliciting feedback on products or features, surveys and other studies.We use location-based information that you allow us to obtain when you enable the "Location Services" device setting. This includes, but is not limited to, your GPS location and, depending on the operating system you use, other device signals. In addition, we use the following location-based data even if your GPS is disabled: IP address, your activity and that of others on our products, information you provide to us directly, such as when you provide your current location in your profile. We use location-based information - such as your current location, where you live, the places you like to visit, and the businesses and people near you to serve you personalized content.

Promoting privacy, security, and integrity

Communicating with you
To send you updates on terms of use, etc., surveys, responses to your contact, push up notifications, and newsletters. We use the Google CloudImage API application to analyze the images you upload and automatically associate this with places and travel experiences. This also allows us to detect and block inappropriate content, such as adult or violent content. During the analysis, there is the possibility that persons depicted are recorded. Thereby, neither a facial recognition nor any other identification takes place. The legal basis for the use is the usage contract according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO
To whom do we pass on this data? 
First of all, only our employees who are involved in technical, commercial or editorial support receive knowledge of your personal data.
In addition, we use external service providers within the scope of the data processing explained above or, if necessary, commission them with corresponding services. Insofar as service providers receive your personal data as order processors, they are strictly bound by our instructions when handling your personal data. We list the categories of external recipients in detail below:
IT service providers, for example as part of the administration and hosting of our website, our online application process or individual services/functionalities, and for website analysis/measurement.
In the context of the use of the analysis services described above, we may transfer your IP address to the USA (see section "Cookies and related functions/technologies"). Cookies & similar technologies

Session cookies
When you visit our websites, we use so-called session cookies to recognize that you have already visited individual pages of our websites. These are automatically deleted after you leave our site. Most browsers accept cookies automatically. However, you can configure your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer or a message always appears before a new cookie is created. However, the complete deactivation of cookies can lead to the fact that you cannot use all functions of our web pages. The storage period of cookies depends on their purpose and is not the same for everyone.

Google Tag Manager
We use the Google Tag Manager to manage website tags. These make it easier for us to manage and develop our offer and shorten the loading time of the website. The Google TagManager only implements website code. The Google Tag Manager therefore does not set any cookies itself and does not collect any personal data. The tool merely integrates website code stored elsewhere by us, via which data may be collected. The tool thus only serves to make it easier to display the respective code, but does not itself access the data processed by the code. Google Ads Conversion Tracking
For the statistical collection of conversion tracking data, we rely on the online advertising program "Google AdWords" as well as the analysis tool Conversion Tracking, a service ofGoogle Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street Dublin 4. Ireland (hereinafter: "Google"). When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie for conversion tracking is placed on your computer. The information generated by the cookie: Clicked ad,browser type/version, operating system used, location, referrer URL (the previously visited page), host name of the accessing computer (IP address), time of the server request are transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days, do not contain any personal data and are therefore not used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that you clicked on the ad and were redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Thus, there is no way that cookies can be tracked across AdWords customers' websites. The information obtained with the help of the cookie is used to create conversion statistics for us as AdWords customers. Here, we learn the total number of users who clicked on our ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, we do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified. The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO. This data processing is carried out for the purpose of optimizing advertising campaigns and we process this data within the scope of recital 47 to the DSGVO for behavior and interest-based advertising purposes. You can prevent this processing in advance by generally preventing the installation of cookies through an appropriate browser setting in your browser (deactivation option) or by setting it so that cookies from the domain "googleleadservices.com" are generally not accepted.

Google Analytics
On our website, we use the analysis service Google Analytics of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, BarrowStreet Dublin 4. Ireland (hereinafter: "Google") for the needs-based design and ongoing optimization of our websites. In this context, pseudonymized usage profiles are created by first party cookies and used to distinguish users by means of randomly generated values, without identifying any individual person in the process.
